These innovations help students improve their language skills more effectively and encourage independent learning. Modern technologies provide new opportunities for both teachers and students, making language learning more interactive, flexible, and efficient. Digital tools allow learners to access educational materials anytime and anywhere through computers, tablets, or mobile phones. This accessibility enables students to practice language skills outside the classroom, review materials at their own pace, and receive immediate feedback on their progress. Consequently, digital technologies help learners improve their language competence more effectively than traditional methods alone. One of the most significant developments in foreign language teaching is the widespread use of digital platforms and online educational resources. Teachers increasingly integrate various educational websites, online learning environments, and mobile applications into their teaching practice. These tools provide interactive exercises, multimedia materials, and automated assessment systems that support language learning. For example, many platforms offer listening activities, grammar exercises, vocabulary training, and interactive quizzes that help students practice English in an engaging way. Multimedia resources such as videos, podcasts, and animated presentations make the learning process more dynamic and help students understand language in real-life contexts. Another important trend in modern education is blended learning. Blended learning refers to a teaching approach that combines traditional face-to-face instruction with online learning activities. One of the major concerns is the unequal access to technological resources. Not all students have reliable internet connections or access to modern digital devices. This problem is particularly significant in rural or remote regions where digital infrastructure may be limited. As a result, some learners may not be able to fully benefit from online educational opportunities. Another challenge is the need for digital literacy among teachers and students. Effective use of digital technologies requires certain technical skills and pedagogical knowledge. Teachers must learn how to integrate digital tools into their lessons in a meaningful and pedagogically appropriate way. Without proper training and professional development, digital technologies may not be used effectively in the classroom. Furthermore, excessive use of digital devices may lead to problems such as decreased concentration, screen fatigue, and reduced face-to-face interaction. Therefore, educators should strive to maintain a balanced approach that combines the advantages of digital technologies with traditional teaching methods. Overall, the integration of digital technologies into foreign language education has transformed the learning process and created new possibilities for both teachers and students. By combining traditional instruction with innovative digital tools, educators can create more engaging, interactive, and personalized learning environments. These developments are particularly important in preparing students for communication in a globalized and technologically advanced world. Methods This research employs several methodological approaches to investigate modern trends in foreign language teaching within the context of digital transformation. The study focuses on understanding how digital technologies influence language learning processes, teaching strategies, and student engagement. In order to achieve these objectives, a combination of qualitative research methods was applied, including theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, observation, and descriptive analysis. First, the method of theoretical analysis was used to examine scientific literature, academic articles, and educational reports related to digital technologies and language education. The purpose of this method was to identify key theoretical concepts, pedagogical approaches, and current research findings concerning the integration of digital tools into foreign language teaching. Various scholarly publications discussing artificial intelligence in education, blended learning, gamification, and online language learning platforms were analyzed. Through this method, the research was able to establish a conceptual framework that explains

how digital transformation influences language teaching practices. The theoretical analysis also helped identify the most significant trends in modern foreign language education. These trends include the increasing use of online learning platforms, the development of mobile learning applications, the application of artificial intelligence in educational systems, and the growing importance of interactive multimedia resources. By examining previous research studies and educational practices, the theoretical analysis provided a deeper understanding of the benefits and limitations associated with the use of digital technologies in language learning.
