In addition, it emphasizes the importance of modern teaching approaches in increasing students' motivation to learn English and ensuring their scientific and academic success. Updating learning methods helps to activate students and increase their interest in learning the language. Therefore, teaching English using modern methods not only increases the effectiveness of teaching, but also creates opportunities for students to establish global contacts, achieve success in scientific work, and enter the international market. This article discusses modern methods used in the process of learning English in higher education institutions and their importance.

In order to make the process of learning English more effective in higher education institutions and prepare students for successful global activities, it is very important to use modern methods. These methods make language learning more interesting and effective for students, and also significantly help in improving their language skills. Below, we will explain in detail the main directions of modern methods and their importance. Interactive teaching methods are one of the most effective approaches to learning English. In this method, students actively communicate with the teacher, which plays an important role in the process of language acquisition.

For example, role-playing games, group discussions and project-based work teach students to communicate in English in real situations. This method helps to develop language skills among students, and also strengthens skills such as mutual exchange of ideas, argumentation and problem solving.

In teaching English, the teacher offers students different roles (for example, "a salesperson in a store" or "a hotel employee") and they talk to each other in English.
